Gas prices out of control? No big family trips this year? It's almost summer, and the kids will be home and you need a game plan!
There are lots of great stay in town adventures you can do with the kids. We took a weekend camera safari! We walked around town looking at interesting anything! A local businness has a giant fork in front of their office, so we snapped a few shots, another business has a life sized buffalo in front of their shop. We went through town looking for Giant Advertising and took photos!
My husband loves classic cars from movies, whenever we see one, he loves to snap a photo with We keep an eye out for folks who have made their cars look like famous movie vehicles. We've seen the General Lee, The Batmobile, the Delorean from Back to the Future, and (My Favorite) the ECTO-1 from Ghostbusters!
But you don't have to stick with cars! Did you notice a lot of strange mailboxes in your town? Maybe, some of your neighbor have really interesting gardens, and like any safari, there are always animals! Pick a theme and start a photo safari. It's an inexpensive way to enjoy family time!

When Friends visit Incredible Pizza Company, they love to pose with the '57 Chevy! This photo was taken right after he won a brand new iPad playing Keymaster! Not bad!
